25th & 26th September
- Brian and Roger in Italy (Rome)!!!
Our guys came here in Cinecitta' (Rome) the last 25th and 26th
September 2003, not to be filmed as guest in a Pepsi advert commercial
as it was told, but they came here as producers/engineers to assist
the recordings with vocals by pop stars Britney Spears, Pink &
Beyonce for a version of WWRY ("classic" backing track).
This version will be used for a new Pepsi Cola commercial tv advert
- with no music recording on the guys'
part, don't now if other pieces from other recording session might
be added to put the final version together...
The video should be a "gladiators"
setting, shot at Cinecitta' (not sure if some parts were actually
shot in the real Colosseum)... The three pop ladies will film
at legendary landmark the Colosseum, and will dress up as gladiators.
The spot will be shot internationally except then in USA.
An article was also issued on an Italian newspaper issued in Rome
called "Il Messagero". And the following is the traslation
